Determined to Think Bigger     "You've got to wake up every morning with determination if you're going to go to bed with satisfaction." -George Horace Lorimer     In life it is important to decide whether you'll be one of those people who wake up and go through the motions of a repetitive daily routine just to wake up the next day and do it again.  Or will you be someone who wakes up in the morning with a sense of purpose and "determination", as Lorimer so boldly put it?  If you find you are among the stuck-in-rut group, do you want to get out of your rut?  They say that "time is hard to get and easy to lose", which is why today is the day to start thinking bigger and realizing the life that is out there for you.     I didn't mean to get so "self-help'ish" on you there, but Lorimer's quote brings me to the real reason for this post.  We need to think bigger and realize that the lives that we envy are completely within...
Subject:  Early Rejection Isn't a Bad Thing for All of Us Entrepreneurs

A little early rejection need only open the door to new innovations     Two personal experiences that took place over the past week have somehow converged to create the idea for this blog post, which I'll tell you right now is the best that I've ever written.  The first of the two experiences was a very important meeting in my continued quest to get Careers Without Limits off the ground.  I will get back to this meeting later in the post.  Over the course of the past week I've also been reading Roger von Oech's book A Whack on the Side of the Head: How You Can Be More Creative.  This book is an excellent resource and I recommend it for anyone in any stage of life (For a full review see my LinkedIn profile).   Now, as the founder of Careers Without Limits I clearly believe in the concept and mission of the company.  The concept behind C.W.L. was first a very small idea that came to me while sitting on an airplane flying 30,000 feet above...
